Are you needing some binge worthy Netflix shows that don't include Orange is The New Black, Grey's Anatomy or Gilmore Girls? Here are our top 15 shows you should be binging on for the next few weekends. We personally (David and Kala Rath) have sat down and binged on all 15 of these. While in disagreement on the order of the list, we both agree that these 15 shows cover all spectrums of obscure shows you may have missed and need to see.
United States of Tara - Three seasons of hilarity. A show about a wife and mom of two who suffers from multiple personality disorder. Nurse Jackie - A Showtime original dramedy series about a nurse who battles an addiction that causes a battle to keep her career, her family and happiness.
Weeds - After her husbands unexpected death, Nancy Botwin, a suburban mother, turns to become a marijuana dealer in order to take care of her family. With 8 seasons available - you are sure to have fun for a while with this series.
The Following - A Fox Series with Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy who play roles in this intense drama/thriller series about an FBI agent who tracks down a serial killer who has a cult following who wants to follow in his footsteps.
Jane the Virgin - A CW original about a young and devout catholic girl who become pregnant by accident when a routine exam turns into an artificial insemination procedure.
Daredevil - 2 seasons are available on Netflix. Binge away, friends. "Matt Murdock, with his other senses superhumanly enhanced, fights crime as a blind lawyer by day, and vigilante by night."
The Fosters - An ABC Original Series has 4 seasons ( and is still in the making). "Stef Foster and Lena Adams, a lesbian couple, have a family of adopted, biological, and foster children. Mariana and Jesus are adopted 15 year old twins and Brandon is Stef's 16 year old biological son from a previous marriage. Everything is going normal in the house. Grace and Frankie - A Netflix Original about two men who have been work partners and best friends for over 20 years that leave their wives to be romantic partners.
The Flash - In a CW original, Barry Allen wakes up 9 months after he was struck by lightning and discovers that the bolt gave him the power of super speed. With his new team and powers, Barry becomes "The Flash" and fights crime in Central City.
Hart of Dixie - A CW series with 5 seasons about a doctor from New York, who relocated to a small town in Alabama to take over a dying practice. She has to overcome the battle of getting people to take her seriously while learning to live in the South. Although a bit cheesy at times, it is perfect for a glass of wine, takeout having a binge with your girlfriends.
Californication - A Showtime Series featuring David Duchovny as Hank Moody. Hank is a novelist struggling to raise his 13-year old daughter while still in love with his ex-wife who is getting married. New Girl "The show will star Zooey Deschanel as Jessica Day, a well-liked, bubbly, and adorable woman in her late 20s who is trying to get over her surprise breakup with her model boyfriend. Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 . Two seasons of Don't trust the B---- in Apartment 23 isn't enough. This is a great comedy - a little raunchy - and but definitely one you should give a try. "June decides to move to New York city to pursue her dream job at a mortgage company, which comes with its own apartment. However, the company is shut down on her first day and the apartment is taken away. June moves in with Chloe, who is a con-artist and all-round party girl. At first, they don't get along. When Chloe's attempts to con June backfire, they end up becoming friends." - IMDB
Love . A Netflix original that is currently in it's first season and season two coming out in 2017. "A program that follows a couple who must navigate the exhilarations and humiliations of intimacy, commitment and other things they were hoping to avoid."
